Our Story:
Flashback to May of 2020, Leah Zuckerman and a friend were sitting in Bovine Burger in Jamesburg talking about starting a theater company. At the time they had no idea if they would actually follow through with it, but Leah never stopped researching. For a while the idea was put on the back burner, until August of 2022 when Leah and her friend were doing a show - that's when this “idea” came to life. United Theatre is officially up and running and we are a non-profit recognized by the IRS!!!
Founder Leah Zuckerman, wanted to use her acquired skills and knowledge to open a theater company of her own. She wanted to provide a place where visitors could enjoy professional performance art and performers could find a second home. Our team's background and experience within community theater productions in front of live audiences makes our talented crew one of the best in the business.
